GETTING THERE

TRAVEL

If you are driving from Washington, DC, it is about an 8.5 – 9 hour drive.  If you are driving from NYC, it is about 4 hours.    

If you are flying...

• Adirondack Regional Airport is the closest airport (15 minutes away), serviced by Cape Air through JFK and Boston. Very convenient.    

• Plattsburgh, New York use to have United service and is now serviced by Contour Airlines and is about one hour away.  This is the most convenient airport with jet service and easy to grab a rental car and go.    

• Burlington, Vermont is about two hours away and is a beautiful drive that includes a ferry ride from Charlotte, Vermont to Essex, New York, every 30 minutes in the summer (http://ferries.com/vt-ny-ferry-routes/charlotte-vt-essex-ny/current-ferry-schedule). 

• Albany, New York is about 2.5 hours away and highway driving for a much of the drive.   

ADDRESS + DIRECTIONS

Our address is 417 Gilpin Bay Road, Saranac Lake, New York and it shows up on GPS.  Once you turn off the highway, just watch out for speed traps when you go through small towns.  There are several different routes but we prefer the one that goes through the town of Lake Placid so you may want to put that into GPS and then once you get to Lake Placid, then you can put in our address and it will take you about 25-30 minutes to get to Moss Ledge.
